Ruby Regina Numi, 74, of Du Quoin, passed away at 1:37 P.M., Thursday, March 3, 2005 at the Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin.
Ruby was a homemaker and had worked at Marshall Browning Hospital and with her husband at the Numi Market. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Du Quoin and the TEC of the church. She was also a member of the Du Quoin VFW and American Legion Auxiliary. 
She was born April 21, 1930 at Paducah, KY the daughter of Theodore and Opal (Stevenson) Rucks.
She married Angelo Paul Numi Sr. on September 5, 1949 at the St. Francis DeSalles Catholic Church in Paducah, KY. He passed away September 15, 1993.
She is survived by a daughter- Regina Bathon and husband Thomas of Coulterville, three sons- John T. Numi and wife Rose of Du Quoin, Angelo Paul Numi Jr. of Gillette, WY and Joe Numi and wife Karen of Collinsville, three sisters-in-law- Jewell Numi, Betty Jo Rucks and Doris Rucks, ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers- Thomas Rucks, William Rucks and Joe Rucks.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M., Monday, March 7, 2005 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Du Quoin with Msgr. Harry Jerome officiating.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 P.M. Sunday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin. The Rosary will be prayed at 9:30 A.M. Monday at the funeral home.
Interment will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery at Du Quoin.
Friends may make memorials to the Marshall Browning Hospital, St. Brunos Catholic Church or Sacred Heart Catholic Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
